Contact Beyond Contact (CBC) is an exploration of movement, trust, and creativity, designed to help you connect more deeply with yourself, others, and the natural world through conscious movement practices inspired by the elements.

This workshop will be held in collaboration with @movewithkrissy, bringing her practices inspired by her background in Latin partner dance styles like Zouk, and her personal journey into mindful movement.

The theme of this workshop is 'Move Through the Elements'

Each element will guide our movement journey, helping connect to ourselves and each other.

CBC blends contact improvisation, mindfulness, and partner work to cultivate presence, spontaneity, and fluidity. You’ll move through guided practices that draw inspiration from the grounding nature of earth, the adaptability of water, the vitality of fire, the freedom of air.

Earth-Based Body Awareness to ground yourself and awaken your sensory connection.
Partner & Group Work to build trust, support, and playful non-verbal communication.
Water-Inspired Improvisational Flow to help you move freely, fluidly, and expressively.

Whether you're a dancer, a mover, or simply curious, this workshop is open to all levels. No prior experience or partner is needed, just a willingness to explore and dance.
