Container Deposit Scheme (CDS) in Victoria for Landcare and Environmental Organisations
Event description
Victorians use more than three billion drink containers per year. Sadly, many of these are not recycled and end up in landfill, hurting the environment we love.
We’re excited to partner with Victoria’s Container Deposit Scheme (CDS Vic) - a new recycling initiative that aims to change this.
While reducing litter on our lands, the scheme also provides our community with a new way to fundraise.
Join us for a free online webinar on Tuesday, February 20 to hear from CDS Vic about what the initiative means for our environment and how to get involved.
What’s on offer:
- Learn more about Victoria’s Container Deposit Scheme
- What this means for environmental organisations and communities
- Learn from other groups about their experience
- How to register as a ‘donation partner’
- Ways to fundraise with CDS Vic
- Free access to fundraising guide and supporting resources to get started
This session is perfect for all volunteer-led environmental groups and not-for-profits.
Note: This webinar will be recorded and a copy is sent out to every registrant by default. So if you aren't able to watch the Webinar live at the scheduled time, you don't need to do anything - we'll send you a copy you can watch at your own pace.
