WITF News democracy reporter Jordan Wilkie will lead a conversation with Mathias about his book, “To Catch a Fascist: The Fight to Expose the Radical Right”.
An audience Q&A will follow the conversation.
Copies of the book will be available for purchase during the event, and attendees can have them signed following the discussion.

About the Book
In “To Catch a Fascist: The Fight to Expose the Radical Right,” investigative reporter Christopher Mathias examines the growth of far-right groups in the United States and the efforts of anti-fascist activists to investigate and document their activities.
Drawing on years of reporting, undercover investigations, firsthand accounts and leaked communications, Mathias explores the people and networks involved and the challenges of reporting on political extremism in the United States.
About the Author
Christopher Mathias is a journalist who has worked at HuffPost, The Guardian, MSNBC, Zeteo and WNYC. His reporting has chronicled the rapid radicalization of the GOP and helped unmask white supremacists’ work as police officers, soldiers, teachers and politicians.
