Trans people deserve a future where we are safe, loved, and free. But right now our lives are under attack.
Over the last year there has been a massive escalation in anti-trans attacks, media stories, and disinformation. This is all part of a dangerous campaign by the anti-trans lobby to undermine our rights, safety, and access to health care.
Join this free online training to learn how to identify anti-trans disinformation, gain strategies and resources you can use to educate your friends and family, and connect with others looking to make a difference.
Face-to-face conversations are one of the most powerful tools we have against disinformation and hatred. We have seen in previous campaigns for LGBTQIA+ equality, that meaningful conversations make all the difference in promoting understanding, and dispelling myths and lies.
That’s why it is so important for people in our communities to educate themselves, their loved ones, and to help amplify trans voices in the face of these attacks.
Training participants will be provided with a number of ways to take action as well as a guide with links to further resources. There will also be a Q&A at the end of the training.
