Ian has spent many a day at one of the other edges of the world - Rakiura/Stewart Island, New Zealand. Rakiura means 'glowing skies' - one of the few places of the world where the Aurora Australis can be seen, it is a Dark Sky sanctuary, biodiversity sanctuary to due to its lack of ferals and a plethora of flora, and for Ian - it's a fishing haven!
