Conversations with Caspa - Breathing in the Unfamiliar
Event description
In this 3-hour workshop, you'll find a non-judgmental and supportive space designed for those who have a loved one in the LGBTQIA+ community.
If you're open to maintaining love and connection but unsure how to navigate this new territory, join us as we explore empathetic communication, understanding, and connection. We understand that you may not yet have the language to express your desire for loving connection - we care that you have the spirit and willingness. There will be no lectures here.
Learn from others in a group environment, share experiences, and gain valuable insights to strengthen your relationships with your LGBTQIA+ loved ones. Discover the language of love and compassion and foster a deeper understanding of the experiences of the LGBTQIA+ community.
Group numbers will be capped at 12 to ensure there is enough time and space for everyone to feel heard. There is a strong expectation of confidentiality, this is a safe and supported space in which to express fears, doubts and desires.
This space is for parents and loved ones only in order to facilitate openness in sharing. Please keep an eye out for my future workshops which will bring young people and their loved ones together in a supported and loving environment to work through these issues together.
Throughout the workshop we will cover -
Understanding and Empathy
Navigating Change and Communication
Staying in Loving Connection
Reflection
