Perth College is pleased to be hosting Conversations with Dr Kate Burton online on Wednesday 25 May from 6.00 pm to 7.00 pm.

Please join the Learning Engagement Team for Conversations with Dr Kate Burton, followed by a Q&A with Dr Burton, Lucy Birts Co-ordinator of Gifted and Talented at PC, Nicola Rose Head of Learning Engagement at PC and other key staff members. Dr Burton will talk about the Social and Emotional wellbeing of Gifted and Neurodiverse students.

Dr Kate Burton (PhD, MA, GradDip, BA) is co-founder of Gifted WA and the director of Alchemy Therapy, a private mental health clinic specialising in the counselling, assessment, and mentoring of gifted and creative individuals. In a former life, Kate worked in academia and has also served as an invited researcher at the Edith Cowan Institute for Education Research (ECIER). Most recently, her research has focused on the intersection between education and wellbeing in gifted and twice-exceptional students. Kate is also the parent of two twice-exceptional young adults and a passionate advocate for young people who are neurodivergent.
