Conversations with Families and Friends - Understanding PACER and Mental Health Crisis Responses in Southern Tasmania
Description
Join us and other families and friends who are supporting a loved one living with mental ill health and or alcohol and other drug use to hear from representatives from Tasmania Police, Statewide Mental Health Services and Ambulance Tasmania.
You can expect time at the beginning of the session to hear the guest speakers talk about:
How PACER responds to mental health crises, what families can expect when services are involved, and pathways to further support.
In the last part of the session, you will have the opportunity to ask questions and provide feedback on your experiences and needs.
These sessions ARE NOT FOR:
service providers
consumers
Those under 18 years of age
**We understand that many people wear many hats, we just ask that you come in your role as a support person and understand that this is a space for families and friends to be able to speak freely and without judgement
