Conversations with Families and Friends MHS - ONLINE

The Conversations with Families and Friends Program is an education and information program that is for those who have lived or living experience supporting a family member or friend who has or does live with:

• Mental ill health
• Suicidality, and or
• Alcohol and other drug use.

The program provides education and information opportunities for families and friends to hear from guest speakers from mental health and AOD services who share information and education on topics that are important to families and friends.

This month, we will be hearing from representatives from the Adult Mental Health Services. They will be talking to us about the Continuing Care Teams and how they have gone through some reforms to better meet the needs of consumers and families and friends.

After we hear from our guest speakers, you will then have an opportunity to provide feedback on your experiences to influence positive change within the services as well as have your voice heard.
