Cook More, Waste Less vegetarian (Young people)
Event description
Join WMRC and Foodbank for our Cook More, Waste Less interactive workshops. Learn how to cook healthy and tasty vegetarian recipes during the workshop, then sit down and enjoy all your hard work with a tasty meal! These classes are great for young adults who have left home or are planning to and want to improve their cooking skills. Beginners welcome!
In all these classes you will:
- Learn important life skills like how to meal plan, how to sort waste at home, and how to cook affordable healthy meals.
- Gain skills and confidence to cook a range of easy, healthy, and tasty vegetarian recipes.
- Learn tips to avoid creating food waste.
- Take home copies of the easy recipes you learn in class.
- End the session by eating the delicious lunch or dinner you have prepared!
Young adult classes are for 18-25 year olds. Please book into an adult class if you are 25+ years old.
The Cook More, Waste Less program is supported by the Government of Western Australia and the Waste Authority.
Terms & Conditions
Please check the age demographic and food preference availabilities of all classes as young adult classes are for 18-25 year olds and adult classes are for 25+ year olds. Please contact WMRC to see if we can support your dietary preferences before booking a workshop. Tickets are non-refundable. If you cannot make this event, please let us know in advance. Member council tickets are available to residents from Claremont, Cottesloe, Mosman Park, Peppermint Grove & Subiaco. General admission tickets are available for Cambridge, Nedlands, or other councils. If ticket cost is a barrier please call on 9384 6711.
