    Event description

Sweet mindfulness & creativity! This engaging and interactive experience combines the joy of cookie decorating with the calming practice of mindfulness meditation, creating a unique opportunity for self-expression, relaxation and fun!

In this hands-on workshop, Cookie Canvas, we will explore the art of festive cookie decoration and enjoy the endless creative potential this offers!

We'll provide freshly baked cookies as your canvas, and an assortment of colours, as well as decorating tools for your fondant icing. Then we will support you as you unleash your creativity! We'll even run a mini mindfulness meditation + a tutorial before you begin so you can launch into it with your whole being feeling connected and ready to go :)

You'll learn to roll, shape, and mould the fondant to fit the cookies and decorate up a storm! Whether it's drawing delicate patterns, writing heartfelt messages, or crafting charming shapes, each cookie will become a unique work of edible art.

By the end of the workshop, you'll have a set of stunning cookies adorned with decorative icing, representing your creativity and mindful expression. Enjoy as a treat for yourself or share with loved ones- spreading joy + appreciation for the beauty of food and art!

Amazing as gifts to give for Christmas, this workshop will also equip you with insight and inspiration for endless experiences in creating cookies, for all occasions!

Cookie Canvas: Mindful Creativity meets delicious art

    During the workshop, participants will:

    • Create Edible Art: Transform cookies into beautiful works of art using fondant icing, vibrant colours, and a range of decorative elements. Unleash your creativity as you design and decorate each cookie to reflect your unique style.
    • Practice Mindfulness: Begin the session with relaxation exercises to centre your mind and enhance your focus. This mindful approach will guide you through the decorating process, helping you stay present and fully engaged as creativity flows.
    • Learn Techniques: Discover practical tips and tricks for working with fondant icing and decorating cookies. Gain new skills that you can use to create stunning edible art at home.
    • Experience the Benefits of Mindfulness: Understand how engaging in mindful creativity can promote calm, enhance concentration, and nurture your overall well-being. Learn about the positive impact of combining artistic expression with mindfulness meditation.
    • Enjoy a Relaxing Environment: Be nurtured in a soothing and supportive space where you can connect with others, relax, and enjoy the creative process. Leave with a sense of calm and fulfilment, along with your beautiful cookie creations.

This workshop is perfect for individuals of all ages looking to explore their artistic side while experiencing the calming benefits of mindfulness.
