Cooking workshop with Kristina Náray @ Tahanan Studio - school holidays program
Event description
Join us for a hands-on Filipino cooking workshop designed for parents and children to enjoy together. Learn how to prepare two much-loved childhood favourites, in the style made in Southern Philippines, a recipe passed down through Kristina’s family in Mindanao:
Lumpiang Shanghai: Filipino style spring rolls filled with beef and mixed vegetables
Pancit bam-e: Stir fried mung bean noodles with mixed vegetables and shredded chicken
Along the way, you’ll discover more about regional Filipino food, culture, history, and cooking techniques, while sharing a meaningful and interactive cooking experience with your child. At the end of the workshop, we’ll sit down and enjoy what we’ve prepared together.
👧 Children under 8 attend free (one child can attend per paying adult). Please contact Kristina if you would like to bring more than one child.
👩👧 All participants under 16 must be supervised by a guardian. We recommend the class for ages 5+.
We are offering two sessions for this workshop, please select the morning or afternoon session when booking.
Please note: As this is a group-style workshop, dietary accommodations are limited. Feel free to contact the host with any questions before booking.
Kristina is experienced working with children and holds a Working With Children Check which can be provided upon request.
