Cooking Workshop with Shaz Easy Recipes

Celebrating the arrival of the Shaz's Inclusive Cookbook in the City of Charles Sturt library collection, Ngutungka West Lakes is hosting a free hands-on cooking demonstration. Sharon (Shaz) has designed an accessible cookbook for people with disabilities and learning difficulties which matches step-by-step photo recipes with colour-coded measuring cups to make cooking easy and fun for anyone no matter their ability. 

Sharon will show you how to cook one of the recipes in her book, share cooking advice, and have copies of her book and the cups that go with them for sale.

This session is recommended for people with disabilities and their families or carers.

Join us to build cooking skills and independent living skills in a fun stress-free environment.
