Join Rethinking Waste Collective of Moonee Valley Sustainability for a fun and casual cooking demonstration where you'll discover how to minimize waste in the kitchen. Dianne Cutler will guide you through creating these dishes from scratch, using homegrown, foraged, or leftover ingredients:

  • Lemon Cordial – Uncover the secret to making one of the best-tasting lemon cordials you'll ever try.

  • Veggie Stock – Learn how to make a flavorful veggie stock using vegetable peels and scraps, and find out how to store it for easy use.

  • Yogurt – Cut down on plastic waste by making your own yogurt from an existing batch.

  • Dough – Master a versatile dough that can be used for pizza, bread, rolls, and focaccia, flexibility is so efficient!.

Demonstration will take place in Strathmore at Dianne house. Address will be emailed around before event.  Seats limited to 12.

Dianne is a regular textile fixer at our events and in a previous life was a home economics teacher at high school. WIth experience in cook for any number of people ranging from 2 to 100, she knows all the tips to make the most of what you have.
