The team at Children's Autism Foundation (now proudly integrated with Autism New Zealand) presents "Cool Kids, Calm Bodies", a 2‐hour workshop interactive workshop for parents & whanau and any professionals who engage with children and young people on the autism spectrum.  You will leave this workshop with a better understanding of anxiety in autistic children and with simple & practical strategies to support your child or the children you work with.

Topics include:

  • What is anxiety?
  • How does anxiety affect autistic children?
  • Practical strategies & an anxiety "toolkit" to help manage/reduce anxiety & build resilience in children & young people

Plus plenty of time for Q&A at the end of the session.

This live online workshop will answer your questions and provide you with knowledge & strategies to support children through their anxiety and build reslience.

Facilitated by Jo Sutton.

Jo is a National Educator at Autism New Zealand. She is proud mum of three children, one of whom is autistic. Jo is passionate about supporting autistic children and their whanau to live their absolute best lives.

Cost: $25 (non-refundable booking fee)
