Featuring the melodious voices of The Blenders, and the wonderful Sweet Patooties: Four ladies who should know better! Gladys, Violet, Daphne and Petunia sing cheeky songs for your amusement, plus the Northern's own wall of sound, the Maine-ly Ukes. Plus with permission of Kris Kringle an additional cavalcade of local talented musicians. It's not Bob, Ted, Carol and Alice but Jaz & Bernhard 'Reverie'; Kerin Sisters; plus Finch and who knows who might pop up.

OUR CHOSEN FUNDRAISING TARGET: CASTLEMAINE SAFE SPACE [YEAH!]

Castlemaine Safe Space is a community led, non-clinical, inclusive, and comfortable sanctuary.

Our lived experience volunteers are fully trained to support guests who may be in emotional distress or experiencing suicidal thoughts.

Carers of people who are experiencing distress are also welcomed to attend for support. This is an alternative to the Emergency Department for people experiencing mental/emotional struggles.

The spaces are warm, welcoming, cosy and well resourced. Guests will be greeted on arrival, offered a hot beverage and food and provided a comfortable place to sit.

Our volunteers are available to have confidential one-on-one conversation with our guests, listening deeply, empathetically and non-judgmentally.  We want to provide our guests with adequate support to meet their needs, where possible.

This space is unique from any other service, as we honour our guests autonomy by not calling other services for intervention, without the consent from our guest. Everyone is welcome to attend the space, during our opening hours.

No referral or appointments are necessary.
