All Cooperative Business NZ members are invited to attend our 42nd AGM, hosted virtually 26 August 2024.

The AGM will include an update from the Chair and CEO on the organisation’s business activities, and financial performance over the past year, alongside any other business.

The meeting will be hosted online over Zoom. A meeting link will be sent out prior to the event taking place. If you wish to attend, please save the date now to ensure it’s locked in your diary! To ensure we have a quorum, please RSVP your attendance by purchasing a free RSVP ticket.

Cooperative Business New Zealand is the industry body that unites and represents New Zealand’s diverse range of member-owned businesses.

As the peak body, we independently represent co-operatives, mutuals, and societies across multiple sectors. Our aim is to increase awareness of the important contribution these organisations make to New Zealand’s economy and society so that they can continue to thrive.

Seven internationally agreed principles (Rochdale Principles) guide these businesses, emphasising democracy and shared equity while providing economic and social returns to members and their communities:

Cooperative Business New Zealand helps our members maximise the value of their unique points of difference and address the challenges associated with the business model.

By sharing information and bringing together members, Cooperative Business New Zealand provides a platform for members to collaborate, have a stronger collective voice, and educate the broader community on the value of the business model.
