Cooperative Business NZ Annual Awards 2025

One of the most popular events on the Cooperative Business NZ calendar, the Annual Awards evening is a night of celebration and networking.

What is the Annual Awards evening?

The Cooperative Business NZ Annual Awards recognise outstanding leadership and success within the cooperative and mutual business sector. Organisations and individuals can be nominated for an award, which is then judged by an independent panel. 

Award categories are:

• Cooperative /Mutual of the Year  

• Leader of the Year

• Emerging Leader of the Year

• Cooperative Innovation   

• Lifetime Achievement Awards

• Enduring Service Awards

The nominations and judging take place between August and November, culminating in the Annual Awards cocktail evening. Nominees and their teams, business leaders, partners, and the wider cooperative and mutual community are warmly invited to join the CBNZ board and team in celebrating and recognising success within our industries. 

Generously hosted by Foodstuffs, the evening features canapés and drinks, the awards ceremony, supper, and ample networking time.

Anyone can attend, regardless of whether you or your organisation is up for an award. It’s a great opportunity to connect with your fellow business peers and catch up with old and new faces from across the cooperative community.
