RSVP’s are essential to receive your free sausage sizzle & go in the lucky prize draw.
Come along and enjoy connecting with locals, music and share a fun, relaxed evening to celebrate kindness in Cooroy on World Kindness Day.
PLEASE NOTE: Should severe weather prevent the event from going ahead, we will notify everyone who has RSVP’d via email and provide updates on our social media pages.
A little about our hosts:
Waves of Kindness is a Noosa-based charity dedicated to supporting local individuals and families experiencing hardship through practical assistance, essential services and the community programs we provide, including Emergency Relief, our on-site Care Centre, School Brekky Club and School Supports Program, all delivered with kindness and compassion.
Our two community opp shops, located in Noosaville and Cooroy, play a vital role in raising funds to support these programs, with every purchase helping us give back to our local community.
In 2025 alone, our School Brekky Club provided more than 90,000 meals across 13+ local schools, we supported 595+ individuals and families through our Emergency Relief Program, provided 1,200+ support visits through our on-site Care Centre, and contributed to 7 major community projects in collaboration with other local organisations.
Funds raised through our opp shops and fundraising initiatives go directly back into our local community through our programs and support services, making a real difference to those who need it most.
The Kind Community Project is a vibrant global movement empowering people to create a kinder world. Start your day with something positive and watch it change the world around you.
Members gain daily positive inspiration, weekly Kindness In Action prompts, and a supportive network committed to stopping bullying and negativity by creating a kinder world.
Every membership provides 10 days of education to disadvantaged children. Join the Kind Community Project today to build kind habits, transform your environment, and contribute to one billion acts of kindness worldwide.

- Is this event FREE?
Yes, this is a FREE community celebration featuring music, games, a sausage sizzle and plenty of community kindness. Everyone is welcome - please ensure you RSVP so we can plan accordingly.
- Do I need to RSVP?
Yes please! RSVPs are essential to secure your FREE sausage sizzle and entry into our Lucky Prize Draw. Sausages are limited, so please make sure you register.
- What if I've RSVP'd but can no longer attend?
No worries at all! Simply open your Humanitix booking confirmation email, click Manage Order and select CANCEL to cancel your RSVP. This helps us keep track of numbers and makes your place available to someone else.
- What activities will be happening?
Enjoy a relaxed afternoon of FREE music, games, a sausage sizzle and opportunities to meet new people through kind-centred activities. It's all about celebrating kindness, making connections and bringing our community together.
- Do I need to bring anything?
Just yourself, your family, friends and a little community spirit. Feel free to bring along a picnic blanket and any extra nibbles or refreshments you fancy.
- Is alcohol permitted at this event?
To ensure a safe and family-friendly atmosphere for everyone, this is an alcohol-free event. We kindly ask that no alcohol be brought onto or consumed at the venue.
- Will food and drinks be available?
Yes! We'll be hosting a FREE community sausage sizzle for everyone to enjoy. You're also very welcome to bring along your own picnic nibbles and refreshments.
- Is there parking available?
Parking is available in the surrounding area. We encourage guests to allow a little extra time to find a spot.
