GO79MAN
"The Origin Story GO79MAN (Walter Gilmore) is a professional hip-hop artist and composer who built his foundation in Chicago, Illinois. With over 15 years of songwriting and live performance experience, his journey began by honing his craft at regional talent showcases from 2007 to 2010 before successfully expanding his reach to a national audience. Musical Inspirations & Sound Rooted in classic hip-hop foundations seamlessly blended with modern funk, the music is heavily inspired by pioneering lyricists and storytellers such as Common, Lupe Fiasco, Mos Def, and OutKast. This drive for high-level musicality led to the creation of his signature ""Theatrical Soul"" live experience, an innovative format that integrates high-fidelity musical production with live band instrumentation, theatrical reenactments, and professional choreography. Major Achievements Throughout his career, he has sustained a high-yield independent discography that has independently amassed over 1,000,000 cumulative streams. Key career milestones include: Securing a major sync licensing placement in 2026 for the track ""Simmer Down"" for use by Paramount Studios. Composing and engineering custom entrance themes for professional combat sports athletes, including former WWE Superstar Cedric Alexander and current AEW TNT Champion Kevin "" The Jet"" Knight. Advancing as a Round 2 winner for the Seek Raleigh Artist Grant in 2026. Being selected from a national pool of applicants as an inaugural artist to develop and perform within the historic Forest Theater pipeline in Dallas, TX. "

Bonatto
"From being raised in Brazil and having basic living resources, my career as ‘Bonatto’ started way before my personal accomplishments. Drawing, play listing, photographing, filming, editing, songwriting, producing, singing, performing, crafting… all of this flourished after the decision of leaving my entire life behind to pursue a voice that until very recently I could barely hear. Took my first step in this country in boston (2018) and since then, my hunger for identity has been constant, molding myself into an adult people-pleasing version of a lonely brazilian boy. I’ve tried so hard to blend in… hid my accent, dressed like most, even spoke like someone else online just to finally realize how precious it is to claim my individuality. I still love the big buildings, the flowers blooming in the spring and even the winter blues, but I’m fascinated with the water (as a good water signed scorpio), love the heat while sun bathing and shaking the sand off my flip flops while I hear shells jingling in my beach bag; and that’s why I say confidently that the ocean shaped the artist I am today. My biggest artistic goal is to expand the importance of living, exploring, creating and all else, while prioritizing a healthy relationship with the environment. It is truly possible to have human experiences and technology advance without hurting others, especially our nature, and right now, singing is the best way I found to illustrate my own version of that reality. Hoping my contribution to the show allows me to do that in community."

Kacie Brown & The Vision
"Kacie Brown & The Vision formed in 2023 at Columbia College Chicago, where the group met while studying music. Since then, the band has been performing throughout Chicago, building a sound rooted in neo-soul, R&B, pop, and jazz, with live instrumentation, soaring vocals, and a strong emphasis on connection and innovation. Inspired by artists like Robert Glasper and Hiatus Kaiyote, Kacie Brown & The Vision’s goal is to create music that feels authentic, connects with people, and continues to push them creatively. They’ve released five singles, three music videos, and recently debuted their first album, “What Do You Want From Me?” The band has performed at venues throughout Chicago, including City Winery Chicago, The Athenaeum, StudioShapes, and Cole’s Bar. These experiences have helped them grow both as musicians and as a band, and they’re excited to continue building their presence in Chicago and beyond."

Pisano
Before discovering the theatre as an outlet for performing, I always dreamed of being a singer. I've been singing naturally since I was a child, and got better through choirs and musicals. I trained in college by getting a degree in Musical Theatre. In 2019, I began teaching myself how to produce music and also learning from other producers that I was working with on some of my earlier music. At the same time, I was navigating a professional career in the Chicago theatre scene, but when the pandemic hit, I decided I wanted to step away to create my own art. Since then I've released a handful of singles on all streaming platforms, featured on another artist's track, sang backup on Mark Tremonti's (Creed, Lead Guitarist) Christmas album, released my debut EP called "Right Here", exclusively on SoundCloud, and performed at local venues. People have been calling me Pisano since I can remember. It's my last name, and I think it's just one of those last names that has a certain ring to it, which is why I've always been called Pisano by friends, neighbors, teachers, coaches. That's why I chose it as my artist name. I AM Pisano! And I'm here to make music and to feel and entertain. We live in a world that makes us work for the machine til we're dead in the ground, but as soon as I clock out of the misery, I use the energy I have left to create. Because I have to! I don't know how else I'd survive. There's nothing else in this world that could make me feel the way music makes me feel. My dream is to have a #1 hit or album! That is just one of the greatest achievements to me. And I want everyone to know that nothing or no one should hold you back from working towards your dreams, being who you want to be, or accomplishing what you want to in life. You have the power to create your reality. Let go of the distractions, pour into yourself, trust your gut, make tough decisions, do the work. Live the best life you possibly can while you're here. Why live it any other way?

Shamik
"Shamik is a multidisciplinary artist based in Rogers Park. He began his career as a beatboxer and loop artist and eventually evolved into a sample-based producer from collecting records over the years. His releases and Channeling India beat series have been featured on Rolling Stone India, VH1 India, BBC Asian Network, and Chani Nicholas’ astrology playlists. Shamik has performed in 15 countries, and toured with Method Man & Redman, Tanya Tagaq, DJ Kentaro, DJ Qbert, and Tegan & Sara. Shamik runs an ambient and experimental record label, Sensing Waves, and has curated 22 releases in the past 12 years. He currently writes on its Substack to share some of his favorite music and to keep highlighting physical media. Since 2025, he has also been doing his monthly show, Time and Space, on New Zealand radio station, Planet Sauce Radio. Shamik moved to Chicago from Vancouver, Canada in 2021 and hopes to find community by connecting with other artists. In 2023, he went back to school for animation and design and hopes to elevate his own music through visual art. "

Poor Thing
We came together to perform Rhys's Debut EP, and fell in love with performing together! We knew there was something special from our first show. We released our first single as Poor Thing this year, and plan to release more music early 2027! Though we are in the early days of this iteration of our band, we have found a sound that we are excited to share with you all!

Jamie Demeny’s 4-Player Game

They play original arrangements from across the canon of VGM with a never-before-seen instrumentation of tap shoe-driven percussion, clarinet, piano, and bass. The 4-Player Game released their first album in Spring 2026, and toured its debut across the Midwest. Inspired by a love for jazz and VGM, Jamie’s group is a collection of professional working musicians who are deeply passionate about the source material. Pablo alto
Pablo alto is a synth-forward indie rock collaboration between songwriter/guitarist Sergio Luna and classical/jazz keyboardist Pulsar Li. Their music reflects their markedly diverse backgrounds, evoking the work of Tortoise or Radiohead, as well as an adventurously dynamic approach to live performance, using both live electronics and improvisation to both command rock stages and intimate chamber rooms alike. Since 2023, Pulsar, Sergio, and bassist Ben Campbell have together created music that spans and traverses genre while maintaining a distinct identity. Their sound is defined not only by its range, sourced from both electronic and acoustic sound worlds, but also by a democratic process that achieves a result none of the individual musicians would achieve on their own. Drummer Ben Greenwood joined Pablo alto during the recording of their adventurous 2026 debut album Octaplume, throughout which his aggressive syncopation provokes interaction akin to modern jazz music laid out over more familiar pop and rock song forms.

Andy’s Critical Hits!
"“Andy’s Critical Hits!” is an 8-piece instrumental jazz/funk fusion group that performs original arrangements from popular video game soundtracks. The band was established in 2026 as a passion project of Chicago saxophonist/woodwind doubler, Andy Lopez. Video games have been a core part of Andy’s childhood, as well as his adulthood. Starting on clarinet in middle school, he would frequently prefer to learn songs by ear from his favorite video game franchises rather than practice his repertoire for band class. Since obtaining his music education degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in 2023, Andy has been performing around the Chicagoland area at jazz jam sessions, funk/rock bands, jazz big bands, and pit orchestras. It wasn’t until he attended a VGM (video game music) jam session in mid 2024 where he fell in love with the community of gamer musicians. Andy is confident that his original arrangements of VGM tunes are sure to have you grooving, even if you’re not a gamer!"

Lakewaves Trio
"How it started: Lakewaves Trio emerged from the digital mist of Graham Marlowe (a.k.a., Lakewaves) pianist/keyboardist & solo instrumental ambient-electronic project, Lakewaves. Seeking to bring these liquid, nostalgic sounds into a live, breathing space, he teamed up with ""groove mechanic"" Mason Aumanstal (bass) and drummer neon-retrofitted drummer Will Bailey. Together, they transformed bedroom synth-graffiti into a living, dynamic instrumental engine. Inspirations: Our soundscapes live at the strange intersection of early 1980s VHS tape nostalgia, the avant-garde funk grooves of Medeski Martin & Wood, and cosmic electronic minimalism. We are deeply inspired by the concept of ""narrative improvisation""—treating every live jam as a living, unscripted soundtrack to an absurd or comedically-specific human experience. Goals & Achievements: As a fully independent, unsigned collective, our main goal is to create immersive, high-vibe spaces where listeners can unlock their imaginations and step away from the mundane routine of modern life. We've been honored to bring our cinematic space-jazz to experimental hubs like the national Infrasound Music Festival, regional independent listening rooms, and collaborative local projects. We look forward to expanding our cosmic footprint across independent spaces nationwide."

dicot
Dicot started in 2023 as the indie rock project of Eddie Campell based in Madison, WI. The band is inspired by shoegaze, slowcore, punk, and power pop. Having established themselves as a mainstay in the Madison and Chicago diy circuits, the shoegaze trio is now working towards breaking out in the Midwest regionally in anticipation of their debut LP. Dicot's wide emotional range is demonstrated by their ability to open for both raucous, mosh pit incessant acts like Mr. Phylzzz and Excuse Me, Who Are You? as well as quiet, intimate songwriters like Greg Mendez, Orchid Mantis, and Scarlet Rae. The headliner for Madison Music Radar's 2026 Rising Artist Showcase, "dicot is already the truth, and they're still only getting started" -Aaron Grych.

Bardware
"Bio: Emerging from Chicago's underground rock scene like a drugged-up CEO from under their desk, Bardware has things to do and a LOT to say. Blending elements of Funk, Prog-Rock, Synth, and Jazz, Bardware's patent-pending sound-slurry features irritable reflections on what's wrong, without offering any ideas on how to fix it. Founded in the basements and backyards of Berwyn, IL during the latter half of Covid, Cuyler Marshall (Bass), Nate Brown (Guitar) and Reed McGee (Sax/Synth/Vocals) jammed their way into their first studio album. Eventually cajoling Ike Brown (Drums) into joining, Bardware is now rolling out their second studio album ""Make More Money"" coming September, 2026. Inspirations: Forcefully blending incompatible flavors like Primus, Marvin Gaye, Vulfpeck, King Gizzard and the Lizard Wizard, Bill Withers and Daft Punk, we accidentally crafted a sound that is most often described as “kind of like 311.” Goals: True story: We initially set out our goal of playing Summer Camp music festival, like our friends in Eggy, but that ship has unfortunately sunk. Today we aim to write what we like, blindly sprint into the unknown, and bring the funk. Achievements: We have played Homegrown Music Festival two years in a row alongside headlining Thursday Night Out in Oak Park, frequently sell out Fitzgerald’s Night Club’s sidebar, and by the time this festival comes around, have two full studio albums released. "

Electric Mothership
Electric Mothership, the brain child of our guitarist and composer Rod Hendricks, is a Chicago-made, Afrofuturist psych rock band inspired by Funkadelic. They merge heavy metal riffs with psychedelic themes, over the top visuals, and radically inclusive energy. Their music is a call to action—equal parts sonic assault and alien rave. Dubbed "fierceness of femininity" by AfroPunk, lead vocalist GoldGrrl is a living vortex whose voice sucks in anything within earshot. Electric Mothership builds immersive, techno-spiritual spaces with cutting edge lighting and original songs. They have performed at Museum of Contemporary Art, guest performances on WZRD Chicago 88.3 FM radio, PRF BBQ Music Fest, Book Club Chicago, Theater Y, among other Chicago venues and are artists-in-residence at University City Church. 2026 we accomplished a milestone in releasing our first official self-titled 3-song EP, available on Bandcamp and major streaming platforms.
