Coping with the Holidays (for 2SLGBTQIA*)
Description
For some people, it’s the most wonderful time of the year. For others, it’s a little more complicated. If you’re preparing for the difficulties of the season, come be with other queer folks.
Whether you are going home for the holidays or choosing to celebrate a different way, the holiday season can carry challenges, isolation, compromises, and grief. This free, virtual workshop is an invitation to connect and discuss the intersection of 2SLGBTQIA+ communities and our relationship with food and body during the holidays.
This workshop, like all of our workshops, is open to people of all genders over the age of 16 who may or may not experience disordered eating. You’re welcome to join from anywhere in Manitoba.
This specific workshop is hosted by queer people for queer people, please be mindful of this before registering.
Coping with the Holidays takes place online. You will be sent a Teams link in the reminder email sent prior to the session. You can join from any computer, tablet, or smartphone.
***To create a welcoming space where people feel comfortable sharing, this workshop will not be recorded and must be attended live.***
