Join us as we honour the enduring friendship between Australia and the United States.
In 2025, the Australian American Association – Canberra Division proudly continues its commitment to celebrating and strengthening the bonds between our two nations.
We invite you to commemorate the 83rd Anniversary of the Battle of the Coral Sea at these special events:
• Commemorative Service
Time: 11:00am sharp
Location: Australian-American Memorial, Russell Offices, Canberra
(Please be seated before 11:00am.)
The service will feature the Royal Australian Navy Band and a combined catafalque party of the Royal Australian Federation Guard and U.S. Marines.
• Commemorative Drinks & Dinner
Time: 6:00pm
Location: Canberra Services Club, 51 Blackall Street, Barton
Feel free to stop by for a pre-dinner drink if you’re unable to stay for dinner.
This is a wonderful opportunity to come together with AAA members, community friends, members of the diplomatic corps, defence and government representatives, and our broader local community.
