Alegría Festival - Life is in the moments 2026

We’re hosting a welcoming multicultural festival that honours the many ways we experience life — joy, calm, strength, and the challenges that shape us. Join us for a day of live music, delicious food, interactive activities, creative workshops, caring conversations, and meaningful community connections.

*Delicious lunch catered by Casa Bla Bla (included in your ticket).

Festival Program

• 10:00 am – Official Welcome to Country

• 10:15 am – Art therapy

• 10:45 am – Capoeira demonstration (Afro-Brazilian martial art)

• 11:15 am – Games

• 11:30 am – Making Music

• 12:00 pm – Theatre making

• 12:30 pm – Lunch. Please let us know if you have any allergies or dietary requirements.

• 1:00 pm – African therapeutic approaches

• 1:30 pm – Latin Soul - Live Music

• 2:30 pm – Festival Closing

  Tickets are available with a donation. Your support helps us continue delivering culturally responsive wellbeing and suicide prevention programs in our community.

• The venue bar will be open for the purchase of non-alcoholic drinks.

• If you have any food allergies, are vegetarian, or have any special needs, please let us know in the questions section when you register.

• The entire session will be documented through photos and videos. If you do not wish to be photographed please advise our official photographer on the day.  

• This event is for adults only, so we kindly ask that children do not attend. Thank you for your understanding!
