Welcome to the ARCO 2025 World Championship - Australian Qualifier

Following the preliminary event held in Seoul earlier this year, it’s now time for Melbourne to crown two champions. 

Come and cheer on thirty passionate coffee artisans as they put their skills to the test and create the greatest brew using the new ARCO luxury manual espresso machine.

The ARCO is a hand crafted manual espresso machine from the team at Quissaco, Japan. The brand name Quissaco comes from the Zen phrase "Kissako," which means "Come on, have some tea.” In our busy modern lives, brewing coffee with your own hands and taking a breather brings rhythm to life and creates space.

With a simple design which follows an arc motif, the mobile, lightweight aluminium build of the ARCO brewer carries tranquility and sensibility.

The panel of judges will award the top two winners of this event who will receive a free trip to Tokyo to compete in the finals at SCAJ in September!

This will be the first time that the ARCO has been showcased in Australia, so for anyone who is passionate about coffee and innovative ways to brew, this evening will be for you.

There will be free coffee, drinks, snacks, and a live DJ. So come and cheer our competitors on!
