Expressive Watercolour & Drawing Tuition with Bethany Neck Artist
‘Brush & Bloom’ is a warm, welcoming, experimental watercolour class, where personal expression is encouraged.
The class begins with a gentle warm up to music (voluntary participation), continues with a watercolour exercise to develop skills and follows with an individual project of choice. Themes across the term may include; sea & landscapes, florals & portraits. Beginners are very welcome!
3 Essentials to bring to every class!
A board of dimensions 3 or 5cm depth x 33cm wide x 46cm height to tape an A4 or A3 sheet of watercolour paper.
A second hand ice -cube tray to create washes.
A pencil case with a 2B & 6B pencils, sharpener, eraser and ruler
The Community Centre provides beginner watercolours, 300gsm paper, tape and basic brushes.
Non-Essentials
Participants wishing to create special effects are welcome to bring items of choice. For example- your own small water spray bottle, oil resist crayons, salt, white gouache, masking fluid & applicator. (Beginners do not have to use or bring these items!)
