Beginner copper foil workshop - Nov

Join me for a whole day workshop to create your own unique copper foil piece.

Location: Stained Studios - Guy Street

Start: 9am - 3:00pm (3:30pm latest)

This is the perfect place to start, if your curious about glass and would like to give it a go. This workshop is for you. (You may just become as glass obsessed as i)

I will teach you all the skills to make something of your very own.

This is a practical and informative introduction to stained glass work. You will learn the traditional skills of glass cutting and shaping, copper foiling and soldering in a creative and relaxed environment with plenty of individual care and assistance. You will be shown how to make and fix appropriate wire hooks and finally the best method for cleaning your piece ready for display.

We have the whole day in this workshop, meaning you will have time to create your very own design with my assistance.

Participants will choose their own unique colours and at the end of the workshop you will have made something uniquely yours to take home.

Glass can be challenging but you will be given all the guidance you need. Ages 15+ as we are working with sharp and hazardous materials.

What to bring

Everything is provided for you!

The workshop cost includes all materials required and all tools and safety equipment will be provided. You are encouraged to bring any glass or inspo with along.

What to wear
Covered shoes are required in the space. Please ensure long hair can be tied back.
