In this special workshop at Garden Goodness Smithfield, we join Joe and Andrew from Joe's Connected Garden for an in-depth presentation on growing citrus trees and subtropical varieties. Our expert speakers are qualified in horticulture and/or permaculture and speak from decades of experience in fruit growing and as members of the Rare Fruit Society of South Australia.

This workshop will be comprehensive and wide-ranging, and will include the following topics:

Soil conditions and preparation for planting;
Protection for young trees and what to do to ensure growth;
Correct water, fertiliser and mulch for citrus and subtropicals;
Common pests and diseases and how to combat them;
The basics of pruning for growth and fruit;

There will be time at the end of the workshop for a Q and A session plus personalised advice from the speakers and your local Garden Goodness team. Please bring along any questions or issues. that we can assist you with resolving.
