Civic by Brompton multi-modal transport ride
Event description
Presented with Pedal Power, the ACT's cycling advocacy organisation.
Five places only
This tour introduces people to multi-modal transport - using different forms of transport to complete a trip.
We'll use Bromptons, the iconic cycle hand-built in London which folds into one-third its size, and take on the Canberra light rail system for two stops, then roll back to Lake Burley Griffin.
Foldable bikes can fit easily in a car's boot or foot rest, onboard a bus, or on a train or tram.
This tour includes bike hire from the Canberra and
Region Visitor Information Centre.
What to bring: sunscreen and sunglasses and money/My Way card for the tram trip. We will stop for coffee at the end of the ride.
