Community Connection and Conversations in Norlane

Join VMIAC at the Norlane Community Center for lunch and conversations about mental health services in your community!
As the statewide peak, VMIAC is committed to systemic advocacy for regional Victorians.
VMIAC's CEO and the different teams at VMIAC are coming to Geelong to host a day of connection and conversation so we can better understand the issues, challenges and opportunities you face.
This event is open to everyone who has used mental health services, or is trying to access mental health services in the Barwon South region. Please note that this is an in-person event only and registrations are required (for catering and accessibility purposes).
The community connections and conversation session will include:
- 12.30 PM Lunch is provided by Seasons Cafe
- 1.30 PMÂ Members, consumers and VMIAC connect for an exploratory conversation about what matters to you.
- 2.30 PM Afternoon team provided by Seasons Cafe
- 2.45 PM An educational session on consumer rights under the Mental Health and Wellbeing Act (2022)
