Event description
A MOMENT OF STILLNESS- Sound Healing and Reiki.
Join me for a morning of connection to breath and sound healing. A small group container where you will be guided through a breath awareness meditation, allowing you the ability to drop into your body and altered states, through gentle breath techniques that assist in helping regulate your nervous system. Combined with Sound healing and Reiki, I help you bring your body to a state of relaxation and healing, allowing space for clarity and a profound sense of well-being.
Sound healing- Is an ancient healing modality which works by using specially tuned instruments, which vibrate at different frequencies, travelling through our body and impacting the way our body resonates with each sound. Sound frequencies are used to engage with the body, with the intention of bringing our body to a deep state of relaxation and connection. Sound frequencies are played together, slowing down your brain waves to elicit a deeply restorative state, helping to activate the body's system of self healing.
Reiki- Is a non-invasive, hands-on energy healing modality. Reiki enables deep connection to universal source energy, used to assist personal and spiritual growth. Reiki promotes healing by releasing stagnant energy and blockages, through our energetic centres (chakras), to enable smooth flow of energy through our body. Working with our body's innate healing wisdom, helping to bring balance and healing on a physical, mental emotional and spiritual level.Whether you're new to holistic wellness or simply in need of deep rest, these gentle practices offer a space to slow down, breath deeply and return to a state of harmony.
What to bring:
Water bottle.
Journal and pen.
Throw/Blanket/pillow.
Wear comfortable clothes- anything that will allow your body to move without restriction.
Open heart to receive and feel.
Note: Yoga Matts are provided on the day.
Pre event preparation:
Breathwork and energy healing are both high vibrational experiences, thus we encourage the following;
Eat light food throughout the day.
Avoid any heavy/greasy meals prior to event.
Drink plenty of water and assure to keep hydrated.
We insist that you do not drink alcohol, use illicit substances before, during or after the event.
IMPORTANT Contraindications:
Due to the nature of this work, there is some contraindications that will require adjustment of breath techniques or detain from practices used on the day. These are;
High blood pressure /cardiovascular conditions
Diagnosed severe PTSD
Severe mental health disorders such as Schizophrenia, psychosis and bipolar
Currently taking heavy medications that alters brain chemistry (anti depressant, anti anxiety and antipsychotic)
Recent physical injuries
Epilepsy
Detached Retina
Severe asthama
History of Seizures
Heart disease
Drug or alcohol addiction
Pregnancy
Any other medical, psychiatric conditions that would impair or affect your ability engage in activities with intense or emotional release
If you do have any of the above contraindications, please let me know via email support@ekholisticliving.com.au, so we can assure to make the necessary adjustments.

My aim on the day is to assure that each guest has a beautiful, relaxing and memorable experience. I create these community events, in the hopes that I can shine a big light on you and remind you of your own power to connect to your intuition and bodies innate wisdom. To help you recognise your own ability to heal your body through connection and awareness.
Your willingness to build surrender and trust on the day, will open a higher healing potential for you and my role is to create a safe space, which allows you a great depth of connection to your mind body and Soul.
