Event description

Coercive control doesn’t hide in plain sight—it hides in the spaces between us. Between our professions. Between our community groups. Between the moments when someone could have spoken up… but didn’t know how.

Guided by the powerful voice of Dave Kramer from Small Steps 4 Hannah, this event will challenge outdated thinking, spark bold conversations, and turn good intentions into real-world solutions.

Dave is a Behavioural Scientist and since the death of his best friend, Hannah Clarke, and her three children in 2020, he has dedicated his life to empowering people across Australia to help contribute to community safety.

Through initiatives like the HALT Program and Small Steps 4 Hannah, Dave brings communities together to discuss critical issues like masculinity, gender-based violence prevention, and building respectful relationships.

This is your invitation to step beyond the limits of your professional or community role and become part of a connected, empowered community that refuses to look away. Together, we’ll dismantle the silos that keep victims unseen and unheard—and replace them with strong, united networks that recognise the signs of abuse and take meaningful action.

Whether you’re in real estate, law, education, health, or allied health… part of a sporting club, faith community, business owner, or local organisation… or simply passionate about making a difference—your voice and leadership are needed.

Through dynamic problem-solving activities and purposeful networking, you’ll forge the partnerships our community urgently needs to break the cycle of silence and isolation.

This isn’t just professional development—it’s a movement. A chance to lead, connect, and become the difference that changes someone’s life.
