Event description

Join Child Wellbeing specialist Vanessa McHardy for a practical and supportive workshop series designed to help parents navigate the challenges of raising children in a digital world. Running from November 2024 to April 2025 in New Zealand primary schools, this series offers simple, effective strategies for guiding your child's digital habits while promoting their overall wellbeing.

Learn how to help your child balance screen time with other activities, encourage mindful use of technology, and support their mental health. Vanessa will also provide insights into fostering independence and helping your child stay calm and focused, even with the distractions of digital life.

Whether you're a parent or caregiver, this workshop will equip you with the tools to confidently guide your child’s online habits while maintaining your peace of mind. With the latest research showing the impact of smart phone usage on our children there are clear strategies that we can adopt that will foster healthy relationships with devices.

The real objective of the workshop is to give parents the opportunity to gather together, to think together and feel empowered to make shifts and changes in their homes and feel part of a supportive community.

Special Offer: Only $20 per parent (normally $49).
Tickets available on Humantix. Don’t miss this chance to create a healthier, more balanced environment for your child to thrive!
