Growing a Safer Network for LGBTIQA+ People: SOUTH

NHT is excited to be working with Working It Out, Tasmania’s sexuality, gender and intersex support, education and advocacy service, on a joint project to ‘Grow a Safer Network for LGBTIQA+ People.’ We're running four training sessions during Pride month for Neighbourhood House staff, volunteers and board members. 

The training is developed specifically for Tasmania, and will provide you with increased cultural awareness and inclusive practices for LGBTIQA+ (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, intersex, queer and asexual) people in our communities – no matter where we’re starting from. Whether you have lived experience, or don’t know much at all, the sessions will be safe spaces to learn and ask questions.
