Description
Every great Dungeons and Dragons adventure begins in a tavern.
Whether you’re a seasoned adventurer or you’ve never rolled a die in your life, this two-hour, beginner-friendly D&D experience at Titahi Bay’s own Beer Engine is for you.
Turn up solo or with friends and be guided through a fast-paced adventure by a professional Dungeon Master. Choose your hero — a silver-tongued bard, a fire-flinging wizard, a sword-swinging fighter, a sneaky rogue, or something else entirely, with all characters, dice, and rules provided.
Expect laughs, ridiculous moments, and just enough danger to make the beer taste sweeter. Because while you’re swinging swords and slinging spells, the bar will be open with Beer Engine’s excellent selection of craft brews on tap.
No prep. No pressure. Just great beer and a story you’ll still be talking about afterwards.

FAQs
- I've never played Dungeons and dragons before - is this for me?
It sure is! Our Dungeon Masters love helping people learn the game. We'll explain everything you need to know as you go.
- Do you provide the characters?
Yes, we do. To get everyone underway and adventuring as soon as possible, our DMs will have a selection of awesome characters to choose from.
- Do I need my own dice?
Nope - we'll have plenty to use on the night.
- How many people per table?
Each Dungeon Master will have a maximum of 5 players at their table - so you can bring a friend or two or join an adventure with some mates you've never met.
- Can I bring the kids?
Not this time. But we're looking to run some family-friendly events in the future. Follow ForeverGM or the Beer Engine on Facebook to find out when that's happening.
