Delivered by South Regional TAFE’s Hospitality and Tourism lecturer this workshop will provide the practical skill and theory to achieve the nationally recognised training as well as applying these skills in a tourism setting.
- Nationally recognised training
- Responsible practice must be undertaken where alcohol is sold or served, including where alcohol samples are served during on-site product tastings.
- Provides skills & ability to engage in the service of alcohol
- Identify the signs of intoxication & and how to respond
- Communicating effectively with people from different cultural backgrounds
- Sensitive communication with people of different ages and physical abilities.
Participants will receive the following certification.
SITHFAB002 - Provide responsible service of alcohol certification and certificate of participation.
