The Very Last Curated Walk, Saturday 8 February, SCAPE Public Art Season
Event description
BY POPULAR DEMAND, EXTRA TOUR ADDED. LAST CHANCE.
Explore the SCAPE Public Art Season artworks with Richard Aindow, SCAPE's Executive Director.
This Season closes on 15 February, and most of the artworks will be de-installed afterwards.
On this free walking tour, you will get unique insights into each of the artworks as you enjoy the vibrant atmosphere of central ÅŒtautahi Christchurch.
Hear an inside view about the art, the artists, and the sometimes bumpy road from initial concept to installation.
The walk traces a loop, starting at Hotel Montreal and ending at the Botanic Gardens (Rolleston Ave).Â
It covers approximately 3.5km. Allow 1.5 hours. Please wear comfortable footwear and dress for the weather (whatever that may be).
We've had a phenomenal response to this Season's tours, and this really is the very last one, so sign up now to avoid disappointment.
Meeting point: Outside Hotel Montreal. If travelling by car, please use public parking in the vicinity, not the hotel carpark.Â
Photo shows where the tour starts.
