Eyre Peninsula Destination Management Plan - Community & Industry Engagement

Have your say on Tourism in the Eyre Peninsula!

All tourism industry and community members from OCA, Whyalla, Cowell, Cleve, Arno Bay, Port Neill, Tumby Bay, Cummins, Port Lincoln, Coffin Bay, and everywhere in between is welcome to attend! (Note there is another workshop being held at Streaky Bay 20 November 2025 for those further west).

The South Australian Tourism Commission in partnership with RDA Eyre Peninsula (as the Regional Tourism Organisation) are developing a Destination Management Plan (DMP) for our region. This plan will align with the refreshed South Australian Tourism Plan 2030, released in June 2025.

Our DMP will help guide tourism priorities and aspirations for the Eyre Peninsula, aiming to create positive outcomes that support our local people, communities and places to thrive. It will inform tourism activity in the region, ensuring time and resources are focused where they can make the greatest impact. It will also serve as a valuable tool to advocate for investment in our regional priorities.

As a valued member of our regional tourism community, you are invited to contribute your perspective by attending an Industry & Community Engagement Workshop led by The Tourism Collective.

Register to Attend

This in-person workshop is an opportunity to shape the future of tourism in our region. Tourism already plays an important role here — and together, we’ll explore how it can continue to grow its positive impact across community, economy and environment in ways that reflect our shared aspirations.

Can’t Attend in Person?

An Industry & Community Engagement Survey will be available from Friday 24 October. If you're unable to join one of the workshops, we encourage you to share your views via the survey (link will be communicated via various sources).
