Explore a range of different interpretative objects across a timeline from Australian dinosaurs, to megafauna, to today’s animals.
This session features:
- A life-sized Muttaburrasaurus skull and leg;
- A Diprotodon skull cast, and footprints artwork;
- Koolasuchus cleelandi, an ancient car-sized amphibian and Victoria’s State Fossil emblem;
- Artwork of Thylacoleo to scale, as well as a cast of a Thylacoleo skull;
- Australian animal taxidermy from the Museums Victoria collection (koala, platypus, echidna, a range of birds, and more!)
This hands-on experience is enriched by knowledgeable Museum Educators who are available to answer any questions participants might have.
