Palmerston Workshop Series
Event description
Join Darwin Youth Services (DYS) and community partners for the final two free workshops in the Palmerston Community Development Series — designed to strengthen resilience, wellbeing, and communication within families.
These sessions, held at Gray Community Hall from 6:00–7:30 PM, provide a safe, supportive space for parents, carers, educators, and community members to connect, learn, and take away practical tools to support young people.
Upcoming sessions:
• Tuesday 14 October – Resilience & Wellbeing (Preston Watts Jnr)
Learn strategies to build confidence, self-awareness and emotional strength in young people and families.
• Tuesday 21 October – Breaking the Silence: Real Conversations with Young People (Sarah Austin, DYS)
Discover ways to open honest, respectful conversations about relationships, safety, and support, and help young people feel heard.
Light catering will be provided thanks to community partners.
Everyone is welcome — families, carers, educators, and community members.
