"First 5 Forever' Children's Story Time Session - Carina Library

Join us for a ‘Children’s Story Time’ session at the Carina Library for Mums, bubs and children up to and around age 5.  We will meet outside the library at 10.15 before entering to attend the story time session.  There is a café about 100 metres from the Library where we can go for a coffee afterwards.  

Experience the magic of story time with your child at the library. This interactive session includes stories, songs and mark making activities for young children. Ideal for children aged 2-5 years.

First 5 Forever is an initiative of the Queensland Government, coordinated by State Library of Queensland and delivered in partnership with local government.

Date: 19th September 2025

When: 10.15am for a session starting inside the library at 10.30am (session lasts for ½ hour)
Where: Carina Library Cnr Mayfield Rd &, Nyrang St, Carina QLD 4152

PLEASE NOTE - This is a 'free to attend' event., you may purchase your own food and drinks afterwards at the nearby cafe.

Registration is essential and by registering for this event you are confirming you will be attending. Our Mums come to events to connect and make local friends. We do understand sometimes unavoidable things may happen. However, you will be missed if you register but are unable to attend, and as our events are small groups, the other Mums miss out on your company and the joy of connection.

If this is your first time attending a Social Mums Club event, we understand this can feel a little daunting. We want you to know that we are a friendly and inclusive community, and you will be warmly welcomed.
