Are you ready to make a difference in your community? We're excited to offer a FREE Family Violence & CPR First Aid Session that covers essential life-saving skills including crucial training on the prevention of family violence.

Open to everyone and to all abilities, come and find out how you can keep your family, friends and community safe.

You will gain knowledge about:

Family Violence First Aid

1. What Family Violence is, the signs and red flags.
2. How to Recognise, Respond and Refer to family violence.
3. Upstander actions and creating safe, respectful and equal communities.

First Aid

1. Recognition of a serious medical event
2. Providing practical tools for accessing help under various scenarios
3. Managing patients who are unconscious, choking or in cardiac arrest.
4. Mitigating barriers to providing help, in particular women who have a 30% less chance of survival of a cardiac arrest compared to men
