❤️ SIMON GAULT will be joining us as a guest speaker, and if there's one thing Simon knows, it's that life rarely follows the recipe.

 One of New Zealand's best-known chefs and entrepreneurs, Simon has cooked around the world, built and run successful restaurants and food businesses, written bestselling books, and spent five seasons as a judge on MasterChef New Zealand.

But some of Simon's biggest lessons haven't come from the kitchen.

 A major health wake-up call forced him to rethink the way he was living and sparked a fascination with food, health and longevity. That journey has taken him well beyond cooking, including fronting the television series Why Are We Fat? and How We Eat, and continuing to challenge the way Kiwis think about what we eat and how we live.

 Today, Simon is still very much an entrepreneur, developing food brands and new business ventures, while also travelling the country speaking about resilience, health, business, failure, reinvention and making the most of the life you've got.

 Expect plenty of stories, a few hard-earned lessons, a good dose of humour, and absolutely no half measures.

🎤 KRISTY KONG from the MEDIA WORKS TEAM is locked in as our host for the night. She has spent her entire career in media, starting out as an announcer on radio stations in Christchurch before going on to head up National Marketing for MediaWorks' stable of 10 radio stations. Throughout her career Kristy had plenty of time behind the mic having MC'd client events and functions, and currently fills in on More FM's local Saturday morning show. A proud Wanaka local, Kristy grew up here and attended Mount Aspiring College.

💃🏼 RYAN CALDWELL is one of the talented locals we are lucky to have on our doorstep. Ryan will showcase his incredible talent, and ramp up the atmosphere with his lively music tunes to welcome you to the event, and to get you dancing post auction.

🔨 GEORGE YEOMAN is kindly donating his amazing skills and time to us to host our live auctions. George's experience as a pro auctioneer from Bayleys will turn up the volume on the fun and fundraising to raise vital funds to keep up with the growing demand for our service. Leaving no stone unturned, he'll craft an environment where the act of giving feels as enjoyable as a New Year's Eve celebration.

The proceeds raised through the auctions will go to Food For Love to allow us to continue providing fresh, nourishing meals when people need them most. Last year alone we made over 10,000 meals for the community.
