Event description

Hello everyone

Join me for a Forest Therapy Walk in AH Reed Park, Whangarei 🌿🍃

A 90 minute break to improve your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing in this Guided Meditation Walk, led by certified therapy guide Jodie.

In Japan “forest bathing,” a part of its national health program due to its scientifically backed benefits. Being guided into a state of deep presence and stillness through meditation whilst inside the forest is proven to lower blood pressure, blood glucose levels, and stress hormones. It is much more effective on a persons wellbeing than just going for a regular walk.

What to expect?

We will embark on a meditative 90 mins excursion in which we awaken all the senses and come into a deep state of presence and connection to the natural world. It can be a deeply relaxing and restorative experience. There will be a sharing circle and then we will then end the walk with a tea ceremony made of edible plants grown from my gardens and a small snack.
