From Vine to Wine. Vineyard tour, tasting & light lunch

From Vine to Wine is a special event hosted by Nashdale Lane's vignerons & owners, taking small groups of guests on a behind the scene walking tour of Nashdale Lane's high altitude vineyard while enjoying a extended wine tasting, viticultural overview & delicious light lunch.  Guests will be taken on an exclusive vineyard tour & wine tasting amongst the vines showcasing a broad selection of white and red wine varieties from aromatics (Pinot Gris and Riesling) + oaked white wines (Fumé Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay) to light, medium and fuller bodied red wines (Rosé, Pinot Noir, Tempranillo, Shiraz) all produced from the site. The tour and wine tasting will finish with a casual, picnic-style box of delicious snacks, designed to enhance the wine tasting experience.  

Ticket includes: 60- 90 mins. hosted vineyard tour + extended wine tasting in the vines + paired food  (suitable as a light lunch).  Any dietary requests must be requested at the time of booking. As a small biosecurity measure, guests will be asked to do a quick shoe 'foot bath' (just warm water and disinfectant) to ensure we protect the ecosystem in the vineyard. Covered in shoes are recommened.

What will be covered?

The lifecycle of getting wine from a delicate wooly bud, to picking grapes at harvest, to what winemaking styles and techniques and employed at the winery (and why), to finally putting it into a bottle and into your glass! This is an interactive event, questions are welcome! Will suit wine lovers and those seeking a relaxed but fun/ informative experience. Guests will be offered an exclusive discounted offer on wines on the day should you wish to purchase wine to take away.
