Girls in Robotics Day - Micromelon Python Workshop
Event description
Due to the COVID-19 Restrictions in Brisbane this event will now be hosted online.
Robogals Brisbane invites you to attend our Girls in
Robotics Day.
This
workshop aim to extend the students’ problem solving and engineering
skills by working through a series of increasingly complicated tasks
with Robogals' new Micromelon robots. Girls work in pairs to develop algorithms with python coding that will allow the robot to move, sense and respond to objects around it, and see colour.
This workshop is designed for grade 4 - 6 students who have coding experience and grade 7 - 12 students who have no coding experience before. This workshop is at an intermediate level and is designed for students in grades 6-12.
The workshop is also an opportunity to interact with university
students studying engineering and to meet other girls interested in
STEM.
