Grounding & Dream & Rest Space *Pour/Softly* Tues Feb 27th
Event description
This session is SPECIFICALLY FOR BLACK FOLKS IN THE WHOLE DIASPORA who are and have been plugged into the (too) many active genocides & ragged imperialist agendas around the world.
Who are tired and want and deserve space to rest beyond resistance. Just rest. Especially because guess what?
Colonialism is Disabling. Genocide is Disabling. AntiBlackness is Disabling. My goodness.
Covid, Palestine, Congo, Sudan, Haiti, Tigray, the whole global south, Black folks in the U.S. and on...
Theme: Pour/Softly
This is for Black folks who have been pouring into (fighting, loving, making hard choices, caretaking, setting boundaries, etc) their people, communities, work, friends, etc. But struggle to do the same for themselves. This is a non judgmental space to practice pouring into self through reflection and visualization. This is also a space to practice being soft and sappy without fear of having to be on guard.

* Note: this is not an alternative to rage, grief, exhaustion. Because those are natural responses to the horrors. This is an addition. This is not a glossing over or stuffing down. We must feel. We must feel together and openly and loudly.*
