IMRT CIWG | Getting the best from Maximo CMMS | Implementing Process Safety with Energy Australia

This event has passed Register

Event description

Maximo certainly is one of the best standalone Computerised Maintenance Management System’s (CMMS) used across much of industry. Particularly since it is a dedicated system for managing maintenance. However, there are aspects including the built in maintenance plans and maintenance schedulers where it is questionable whether all are utilising it to its best, to get the most from it to support both maintenance and the needs of the organisation.

Maximo has a version which includes a HSE module. Maximo Health, Safety and Environment Manager provides enterprises with applications that support integrated processes for improving safety, reliability, environmental, and operational performance in compliance with regulations. Key objectives are to reduce operational risk and to increase return on assets.

However not all companies have the HSE version and in this event Energy Australia are going to demonstrate to us how they have implemented Process Safety into Maximo without the HSE Module.

Implementing Process Safety in Maximo without Maximo's HSE Module

When Energy Australia started to implement Process Safety they asked the question “How do we use this as part of the day to day”. Not an easy question. Having been declined the use of Maximo’s HSE module they had to think of how to make it visible and usable. These changes aren’t solely in Maximo, but also using Integrum (their HSE reporting tool in EA) and Power BI to report on and manage how they are adhering to the Process Safety mantel.

Please join us to see how Energy Australia are implementing Process Safety in Maximo and also contribute by sharing how you may be using Maximo for HSE or any other areas of Maximo.

We look forward to seeing you there.
