IMRT CIWG | Getting the best out of SAP CMMS

This event has passed Register

Event description

The SAP Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) certainly is widely used across much of industry. Particularly with its transactional nature and integration into enterprise, business and accounting systems. However, due to its complexity, it is questionable whether all are utilising it to its best and particularly with the engagement of end users, trades and on the shop floor.

At this workshop we will have presentations from BlueScope and PM Eleven.

Working in a department which is home to over 150 conveyor belts totaling over 30km in lengths and over 70,000 conveyor rollers posed its challenges when planning for shutdowns where failing/failed rollers would be replaced in regards to what spares to order, what type of spare went in each location and general administration of the process. With the use of measurement points and some custom SAP transactions they have managed to streamline the process. Matt will describe how they have gone about this.

PM Eleven provides smarter ways to achieve optimised business processes using SAP® Plant Maintenance.

Their solutions for SAP deliver increased levels of productivity and efficiency leading to better business decisions. This is supported by the expertise of our consulting team, which has been driven from our substantial experience in maintenance, materials, finance, HR and integration processes.

Come learn from BlueScope, PM Eleven and others. Share your experience and practices with others facing the same opportunities and challenges with the SAP CMMS.
