Advance Your Educational Writing Techniques: Research Discussion, Findings, and Revisions

This workshop will help you in advancing your educational writing techniques, focusing on research discussion, findings, and revisions. You will need to bring a piece of writing with you that you can use to develop your strategies for iSoLT. This writing is for your own use only.  You are also encouraged to review discussion and findings sections in several published journal article on your iSoLT interest prior to the workshop. Workshop 3 will support you to

• Reflect on Writing Style and Process: Reflect on your educational and discipline-specific writing style and process.
• Write a Discussion Section: Learn how to write the discussion section to suit your iSoLT research paper.
• Identify and Communicate Findings: Identify your research findings, understand their importance, and determine the target audience.
• Engage in Collegial Peer Feedback and Discussion: Engage in peer feedback and discussions to refine your writing progress.
