February 17th - Presidents & Pets CAMP SCRAP
Event description
Have you ever heard or read about the unique and interesting pets of our country's presidents? Legend has it that John Quincy Adams even kept an alligator in an east wing bathtub at one point!
Campers, ages 7-12, will explore the creative possibilities of the discarded materials in the world around us, play games, experiment, and infuse projects with their unique and innovative ideas.Â
Throughout the day there will be a fun mix of staff-led projects and time for free creation. During free creation, campers will design a project of their choice with a wide variety of materials from the SCRAP store and studio.
SCRAP asks that campers come prepared with a lunch that does not need refrigeration, closed-toe shoes, a respectful attitude, and be ready to have fun!
